The Grand Hirafu Summer Gondola is now running for the green season, giving visitors the chance to enjoy the world-famous resort from an entirely new seasonal perspective.
Riders of the gondola can enjoy stunning views from inside of their cabins — which look out over thick forests and steep hillside trails. After ascending over 500m in altitude, guests are greeted at the gondola station by even more dazzling panoramas of nearby towns and the surrounding mountains, including the ever-recognisable Mt. Yotei.
After its inaugural success in 2017, the Grand Hirafu Niseko Siesta has returned once more, bringing with it 6 comfortable lounge-beds atop the resort mountain. Treat yourself to a relaxing summer siesta surrounded by natural beauty, and snap yourself a memorable selfie in view of the area's dazzling panoramic views.
The beds and summer picnic area are free to use (just be sure to tag your selfies with #nisekosiesta!) and the gondola will be running until the end of September, so there's no excuse not to see what the mountain looks like in all of its summer glory!
