By June, Niseko's summer cycling events will be in full-swing, with a variety of races and fun rides to take part in. Whether you're looking for your competitive fix or are simply looking to enjoy a carefree ride with likeminded cyclists, there's something in the area for you.

Nature Ride Niseko (June 10th)

The Niseko Nature Ride is a fantastic way to enjoy the area's beautiful summer scenery, without the competitve edge. Suitable for riders of all abilities, the Nature Ride provides a more relaxed jaunt through Niseko's countryside, and is the first major event of the season.

Yotei Circuit Fun Ride (July 7th)

Beginning at AYA Niseko, enjoy a 58km mini-circuit to celebrate the return of the Niseko Classic. The course circumnavigates our favourite volcano, Mount Yotei, and is a fantastic preliminary event for cycle beginners and enthusiasts alike.

Niseko Classic 2018 (July 7th - 8th)

One of Hokkaido's biggest cycling races, racers compete in extensive 70km or 140km courses through eclectic terrain, including the beautiful Panorama Line, picturesque Rankoshi and Kyowa areas, and even the coast of the Sea of Japan.

Accompanying the race will be the Niseko Classic festival weekend, giving riders, spectators and travellers a chance to enjoy delicious food and drink, entertainment, and games and activities.

Strider Cup (July 15th)

Perfect for kids aged 18 months to 5 years old, the Strider Project was created to give toddlers and young kids a fun way of enjoying their first exciting racing experience!

Niseko Hanazono Hill Climb (August 5th)

Attempt a gruelling hill climb of over 15km at an average 4.6% gradient, ending at the 800m altitude finish line. This difficult but rewarding race grows in popularity each year, and is a first-rate challenge for all visiting cycling enthusiasts!
