AYA Niseko is located at the base of the Grand Hirafu Ski Resort, one of four resorts that make up the greater Niseko United Resort area, tucked away in the stunning Annupurri mountain range. Our location is a resort area known as Hirafu, which is situated within the town of Kutchan at the foot of Mount Yotei (also known as "Ezo Fuji"-the Fuji of Hokkaido). Hirafu is located very centrally in the region, allowing convenient access to many great day trips in nearby towns such as Iwanai, Otaru, and Sapporo, as well as beautiful natural landscapes such as Lake Shikotsu, Shakotan Peninsula, or Lake Toya.

Your journey begins at New Chitose Airport (CTS), Hokkaido's largest and most active airport. Chitose Airport links the island of Hokkaido with mainland Japan, acting as an international hub for the rest of the world to access the region, and is situated close to Sapporo, the capital city as well as the economic, entertainment, and cultural heart of the area.

The fastest and most comfortable means to reach AYA Niseko is private transfer. There are various sizes of vehicle available for your group to choose from, including compact cars for small families and couples, private vans and minibuses for larger groups, and chartered buses and coaches for parties that require ample seating space.

Once you have arrived and collected your luggage, your personal driver will locate your party at your meeting point and bring you directly to the doors of AYA Niseko.

Hokkaido is renowned for its wide roads and winding mountain passes, making car rental a flexible alternative for travellers comfortable with winter driving and wishing to choose their own route and itinerary.

However, AYA Niseko, along with its parent company, are currently unable to process reservations that require sensitive guest information, such as credit card details. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Another alternative is arriving via the JR Hokkaido Train. Trains regularly depart from New Chitose Airport. Train tickets can be purchased at the ticket counter. Reserved seats are available from the airport to Otaru. To purchase, please use the JR counter at the airport. Depending on the schedule, you may need to change the Train at Sapporo or Otaru station before you arrive at Kutchan Station (the closest station to AYA Niseko).

If you choose to travel to Niseko via Bus or Train for your Arrival or Departure, we are able to assist you by providing complimentary Pick-up or Drop-off services between AYA Niseko and the Hirafu Welcome Center (local bus station) or the JR Kutchan Station (local train station).
